Crawford Packaging is currently looking for a Service technician with sales experience to join our Produce team based in Mexico. Reporting to the VP of Produce, this position requires a self-managed, self-motivated talented person with the technical skills to install and service automated solutions as well to work with our customers and our Automation Manager to assess and sell the right solution. 

International Travel Required


  • Installing semi-automatic and automatic packaging equipment and troubleshooting/repairing the machines both in house and in customer facilities.

  • Must be comfortable training clients often in a group environment, showcasing how to run and maintain the equipment

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instruction with limited supervision

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with both clients and the rest of the Crawford Packaging team

  • Develop and nurture long term relationships with customers

  • Developing and qualifying leads to drive additional sales opportunities through cold calling and following up on leads

  • Continually improve your skills and product knowledge to be a sustaining resource for our customers

  • Opportunities to grow out client base and business in the Mexican market


  • The candidate must be fluent verbally & written in both Spanish and English.

  • Candidate must be willing to travel.

  • Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills geared to the industrial sector

  • Superior Customer Service skills, attention to detail

  • Produce Industry Experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales role

  • 5 years preferred experience on the technical side

  • Competent using Microsoft 365

  • Ability to take initiative and work independently

  • Post-secondary education as a Millwright, electrician journeyman or other technical training required

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • Must be willing to work weekends and evenings if needed for service calls or tight deadlines

  • Must be able to work in the US and Mexico (Valid Passport)
